Esprow's Nozomi ETP integrates SWIFT MT/MX messaging standard
London, August 5th 2014 – Esprow has today announced successful integration of the SWIFT MT/MX messaging standard within the Nozomi Enterprise Testing Platform.
Esprow’s Nozomi ETP already provides users with automated testing of financial applications across a growing number of industry protocols. In line with its stated technology roadmap of expanding protocol support to a growing number of business areas today Esprow has announced integration of the SWIFT MT and SWIFT MX messaging standards within the Nozomi ETP suite of applications. Users of the SWIFT protocol will be able to test their SWIFT-based processes, including SWIFT message validation rules, connectivity to SWIFT counterparties, importing and exporting of messages in native formats and simulation of downstream SWIFT counterparties.
This enhancement to the Nozomi toolset provides users the capabilities to deliver SWIFT-based solutions with increased speed and confidence. Regular updates to Nozomi’s support for SWIFT will be released every year in advance of the standard SWIFT upgrade giving users ample time to adapt to the new changes and guarantee the reliability of their SWIFT processing solutions.
Francesco Lo Conte , Managing Director of Esprow in Singapore, comments: "We have seen increased demand from our clients to achieve greater efficiencies across the delivery pipelines in many areas of their business. Since launching Nozomi ETP two years ago our promise has been to align our development roadmap to their requirements. With stricter regulatory frameworks in many regions and demands for shorter settlement cycles across Europe it was important that we enabled Nozomi with features that deliver against our clients’ most pressing needs. Improved management of SWIFT processes had been an area of strong demand for some time and naturally we were looking forward to this milestone.”
By deploying the new SWIFT Protocol Plug-In within existing Nozomi installations users are able to automate testing of SWIFT-based systems. During the standard SWIFT upgrade that happens every year all existing processes can be tested in minutes instead of the usual weeks. We believe that this provides a clear, tangible and immediate value to their business. Because of Nozomi ETP’s support for multiple protocols, like FIX and MQ, users can also carry out system integration testing by triggering transactions from upstream systems and simulating responses from downstream applications. Support for SWIFT MT/MX messaging represents a further proof of the versatility of Nozomi ETP to deploy its toolset to different functional areas and its long-term value to the business."
Esprow’s Nozomi ETP automates testing, simulation and certification of financial systems across a growing range of financial messaging protocols. Launched in 2012, Nozomi ETP delivers a tangible competitive advantage by drastically reducing the time-to-market of new business ideas and the risks associated with frequent system upgrades. Nozomi multi-protocol support includes all financial standard protocols like FIX and SWIFT, middleware messaging, 3rd party and proprietary applications.
